US Women’s World Cup-cakes!


So happy for the US Women’s national team.  Celebrate with these super easy,  super quick mini cupcakes. 

Simply pick your favorite boxed white cake mix,  prep according to box (easy part).

Add red,  white and blue sprinkles to the batter.  The big kind,  not the decor sugar (fun part).

Divide into lined mini muffin pans (a cookie scoop works perfect).

Don't cover these cuties with heavy frosting!

After you take them out of the oven,  make the super quick patriotic glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk,  more as needed to thin.
.5 teaspoon vanilla
Red,  white,  and blue sprinkles

Mix the first 3 ingredients until smooth.  Glaze should be thick enough to hold the sprinkles,  but thin enough to pour on with a spoon.  Stir in the sprinkles,  the color (surprisingly)  didn’t bleed. Add to cupcakes while they’re still warm. 

These took about 30 minutes from start to finish!
